Manama, Jan. 10 (BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today with Speaker of the Jordanian House of Representatives Abdul Karim Al-Daghmi. and the accompanying delegation at Al-Qudaibiya Palace.
During the meeting, His Highness received a handwritten letter addressed to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa from His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
His Highness pointed to the depth of the Bahraini-Jordanian relations, which continue to enjoy the commitment and support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein.
His Highness welcomed Al-Daghmi and the Jordanian delegation accompanying him in Bahrain, expressing his hope that their visit would contribute to strengthening parliamentary relations and cooperation between the two countries.
For their part, His Excellency Al-Daghmi and the accompanying delegation expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness, noting His Highness’ continuous support for deepening Bahraini-Jordanian relations.
Deputy Prime Minister H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Speaker of the House of Representatives, H.E. Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and H.E. Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of the Shura Council. The meeting was attended by His Excellency Ghanem bin Fadel Al Buainain, Parliament Affairs.
