Glasgow, November 2 (BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today held a meeting with the Prime Minister of the State of Israel, Naftali Bennett, at the twenty-sixth session of the United Nations on climate change. Conference in Glasgow, Scotland.
His Highness highlighted the commitment of the Kingdom of Bahrain to support regional peace, development and stability in line with the comprehensive development goals of the Kingdom of Bahrain under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister pointed out the importance of building on the progress made after the signing of the peace declaration, and of strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation.
His Highness and Prime Minister Naftali discussed issues of common interest and areas of cooperation, especially the importance of cooperation between the two countries in preserving the environment and promoting the use of clean energy.
His Royal Highness explained Bahrain’s comprehensive response to climate change, including the Kingdom’s intention to achieve net zero by 2060.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Kingdom.
