Manama, April 17 (BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today at Riffa Palace with a number of heads of Ramadan councils.
His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister affirmed that the citizens of Bahrain are at the heart of the Kingdom’s development plans under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted the Kingdom’s relentless efforts to mitigate the spread of the Corona virus, which has prioritized the health of citizens and residents and the protection of the economy.
His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister added that Bahrain’s comprehensive approach to mitigating COVID-19 – which includes a package of economic incentives – has mitigated the economic impact of the pandemic.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad praised the concerted efforts of the Bahrain team and noted that the kingdom’s inclusiveness, transparency, community spirit and freedom of movement were essential to the successful response to the pandemic. His Highness commented that the Kingdom will overcome challenges through unity as it recovers from the epidemic and build towards a prosperous future.
His Highness indicated that the economic recovery plan will help Bahrain recover from the epidemic by creating promising opportunities for citizens. The plan projects will develop vital sectors, increase Bahrain’s competitiveness, and create an open investment environment.
His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister concluded by stressing the importance of concerted efforts to achieve economic recovery and address future challenges.
For their part, the heads of Ramadan councils in the Kingdom expressed their gratitude and appreciation to His Royal Highness for his continued commitment to communicate with citizens during the holy month of Ramadan.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and a number of senior officials were also present.
