HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister congratulates the Speaker of the Council of Representatives

Manama, February 20 (BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, sent a cable of congratulations to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Her Excellency Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, on the occasion of her assumption of the presidency. The current session of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU) during the 32nd Conference of AIPU, held in Cairo, Egypt.

His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister wished His Excellency Zainal success in strengthening the role of the Union in supporting cooperation and coordination between Arab parliaments to serve the region and achieve the aspirations of its peoples.

His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister praised the distinguished position enjoyed by the Kingdom of Bahrain at the regional and international levels, and the skills and experience of Bahraini citizens, which enabled them to assume responsibilities and assume various regional positions.
