Manama on December 15 (US): Today, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received a cable of congratulations from His Highness Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, on the occasion of the Kingdom’s national holidays, in commemoration of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as a region. An Arab and Islamic state, founded by Ahmed Al-Fateh in 1783, and the anniversary of the accession of His Majesty the King to the throne.
