Manama on December 15 (US): Today, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received a cable of congratulations from His Highness Sheikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, on the occasion of the Kingdom’s national holidays, in commemoration of the establishment of the modern era. The state of Bahrain as an Arab and Islamic country, was founded by Ahmed Al-Fateh in 1783, and it commemorates the accession of His Majesty the King to the throne.
