Manama, September 4 (BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today with Minister of Finance of the Republic of Maldives Ibrahim Amir and Minister of Environment and Climate Change. Technology Her Excellency Amina Shona at Riffa Palace.


His Highness welcomed the delegation of the Maldives to the Kingdom of Bahrain, and highlighted the importance of strengthening bilateral relations to enhance cooperation and coordination in achieving common goals.


The latest regional and international developments and issues of common interest were also discussed.


For their part, the delegation of the Maldives expressed their appreciation for the commitment of His Royal Highness to strengthening bilateral relations, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further development and success.


The meeting was also attended by Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy.
