Manama, Nov. 20 (BNA): Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, expressed her pride in the results of the parliamentary and municipal elections.
She welcomed the victory achieved by eight women in Parliament and three women in municipal councils.
The Speaker of the Council expressed her happiness with the performance of women who are determined to activate their political participation and take the initiative to run in the elections and contribute to the national democratic practice.
