Manama, March 12 (BNA) Member of the Supreme Council for Women, Sheikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, extends her sincere congratulations to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, consort of His Majesty the King and Head of State. The Supreme Council for Women, after being chosen to be at the forefront of the list published by the Contemporary and Historic Women Leaders Initiative announced by the European Union delegation to the United Nations and the Permanent Mission of Gabon, on the occasion of UNESCO’s launch of the International Women’s Day in Pluralism.
She stressed the pivotal role of HRH Princess Sabeeka in the advancement of Bahraini women, which helped her to assume leadership positions in various sectors. She also expressed the pride of Bahraini women in their belonging to the Kingdom of Bahrain under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
