Manama, March 10 (BNA) The Chairman of the Human Rights Committee in the House of Representatives, Representative Ammar Ahmed Al-Bannai, sent his sincere congratulations to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the wife of His Majesty the King and Head of State. The Supreme Council for Women is at the top of the list published by the Contemporary and Historic Women Leaders Initiative announced by the European Union delegation to the United Nations and the Permanent Mission of Gabon, on the occasion of UNESCO’s launch of the International Women’s Day in Multilateralism.
MP Al-Bannai praised the role of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka and her contributions in supporting Bahraini women to enable them to reach high positions and achieve multiple gains at the national and international levels.
He praised the pioneering role played by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka in various developmental and social fields, praising Her Highness’ support for Bahraini women’s participation in the political field and the decision-making process, in addition to paving the way for them to contribute to the national economy.
MP Al-Bannai affirmed the keenness of the Supreme Council for Women, led by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka, to adopt the issues of Bahraini women and the family, defend their interests, provide them with all forms of support, empower them, and direct their capabilities to serve the nation. Which enabled them to achieve success in all fields, which contributed to strengthening the stability and cohesion of the Bahraini family.
