The meeting came on the sidelines of the participation of the two delegations in the meetings of the second session of UN-Habitat, which was held in the Kenyan capital from 5 to 9 June.
The two sides reviewed the fraternal relations between Bahrain and the UAE and the efforts exerted in providing housing services to citizens. They also discussed coordinating efforts regarding issues on the agenda of the UN-Habitat meeting.
The Minister of Housing and Urban Planning highlighted the partnership between the public and private sectors in Bahrain and its results in developing housing services.
The meeting also highlighted the ministry’s completion of the pilot phase of the government program for land development rights, which includes 132 housing units.
Al-Mansoori praised the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain in developing its housing services for citizens, and stressed the importance of cooperation and exchange of experiences.
