Manama, October 3 (BNA) The Minister of Housing, Basem bin Yaqoub Al Hamr, congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the World Habitat Day.
Minister Al-Hamr praised the Kingdom’s efforts in implementing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030, specifically the eleventh goal related to (making cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable), as a priority national goal.
The minister said that Bahrain is one of the leading countries in implementing the sustainable development goals, citing the first voluntary national report submitted by Bahrain to the 2018 High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development and Sustainable Development Goals (HLPF 2018), in which he explained the following: the Kingdom’s efforts and process in achieving these goals.
