• Provide leadership to assigned staff through strong organizational skills and proven ability to coach, train, motivate, schedule, mentor, direct and monitor staff and discipline staff.
• Carry out daily housekeeping in a professional manner, respecting staff opinions, listening to concerns, and responding to them, and treating staff and visitors with respect and courtesy.
• Performs daily rounds, initiating contact with clients, employees, patients and others in the workplace.
• Performs employee monitoring reports with staff, as well as conducting patient satisfaction surveys.
• Ensures compliance with Acciona’s policies and procedures by meeting and communicating regularly with employees to ensure their awareness.
• Assigning personnel to defined work areas or project duties and distributing appropriate project documents, records or task sheets.
• Respond to client requests to resolve operational issues in a timely manner and follow up on specific concerns in accordance with the escalation protocol.
• Allocate equipment to employees and monitor daily use, cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
• Focuses on quality management to ensure that the standards in the contract with clients are met and maintained.
• Performs quality audits on a regular basis and follows up with staff on areas where there are deficiencies.
• Participates in safety management and infection control programs and is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
• Conducts regular employee education and information meetings (toolbox/safety tips) in designated work areas.
• Identifies the supplies that are required to be ordered from suppliers.
• Monitors proper use and care of supplies and materials.
• Provides hands-on support when needed or during outbreaks in units where additional precautions may be required.
• Ensures that employees receive appropriate guidance, initial training and continuing education.
• In consultation with the HR Manager, investigates and resolves HR issues and problems involving employees.
• Provides training, and other disciplinary measures as required.
• Resolves any other operational issues arising during shift through discussions with other supervisors and guidance from the Operations Manager.
• Ensures compliance with departmental budget for staff, supplies and other items by completing a variety of reports such as Daily Hours and Consumer Inventory reports, as well as other statistical data.
• Performs other duties as required.

University qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor’s
