Housekeeping Supervisor and Department Trainer

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will lead your team to create a great guest experience.

What will you do:

To review employee schedule and annual leave plan to ensure proper allocation of resources in order to improve owner/resident/guest satisfaction levels as well as employee productivity and satisfaction
– To check all vacant rooms and check-out and check-out rooms daily.
Ensure that rooms are “checked” for all late arrivals, overnight stays and early overnight stays.
Coordinate with front office supervisors to obtain lists of access group rooms, then ensure all rooms are ready and inspected at least 2 hours prior to group arrival.
Ensure that the conflict report is submitted twice a day to the front office supervisors.
To monitor team performance and assist with training to improve standards as required
Have a full understanding of and adhere to Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts policy with regard to fire, hygiene, health and safety.
To handle and resolve guest complaints while keeping the executive housekeepers and front office supervisors informed.
– To offer your full cooperation to all guests, and help in a prompt, caring and helpful manner.
Actively seek feedback from guests to ensure consistency and quality.
– To equally manage inventory and use of cleaning products and equipment.
Oversee the implementation of a training plan for all housekeeping team members and external public area team members
Prepare and conduct employee performance appraisals in collaboration with the executive housekeeper.

Your experience and skills include:

Previous experience in a similar leadership role is an advantage
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities and the ability to lead by example
