Manama, October 5 (BNA) The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the State of Libya, Dr. Naglaa Al-Mankoush, held a concert at the Sheikh Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Center for Culture and Research.
The event was inaugurated by the President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Sheikh Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Center for Culture and Research, Sheikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa,
The meeting was attended by the Director General of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies, Dr. Sheikha Munira bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, and the Head of Arab Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Mohammed Al Tarifi.
During the visit, the Libyan minister toured the center and the surrounding cultural sites, such as the Abdullah Al-Zayed House of Bahraini Press Heritage and the Children’s Library.
I was briefed on Bahraini art and heritage by the President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, and a review of the most prominent pieces of art on display.
She praised the Bahraini artwork, appreciating the effort exerted in preserving the authentic Bahraini heritage.
She also expressed the importance of bilateral relations and joint cooperation between the two countries in the cultural and artistic fields, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain, its leadership and people further progress, growth and prosperity.
