Hope Ventures, Private Investors invest $153,000 in Beban sixth episode

Manama, Feb. 12 (BNA): Hope Ventures, the investment arm of the Hope Fund and producers of the Beban TV show, has invested $153,000 in Herbal Dose and L7 Chocolate along with the private sector in the sixth episode of the second season of Beban.

Herbal Dose, an organic brand of hair care and skin care products made with certified organic, natural ingredients and scented with organic essential oils, was founded by Aida Mohamed, raising $100,000 from Hope Ventures and the private sector represented by Youssef Al-Sultan and Mashael Fairouz.

While L7 Chocolate, a bakery run by Lujain Hussain, a 15-year-old Bahraini pastry chef, that bakes and makes products such as cakes, ice cream and desserts, raised $53,000 from Hope Ventures and the private sector represented by Akram Meknes and Yousef Al-Sultan. And Mashael Fayrouz.

Fajer Al-Bahajji, General Manager of Hope Projects, confirmed that Biban aims to highlight promising entrepreneurs and encourage a new generation of young people to pursue entrepreneurship as a potential career path.

“I am excited to co-invest in both companies alongside regional investment leaders. Through the offering, they will be mentored by the expertise of co-investors and will have access to the capital required to accelerate the growth of their businesses,” she said.

“Loujain succeeded in creating a delicious dessert in her home through her tremendous determination and with some help from her family, as she showed youthful perseverance, adult leadership, remarkable ability to manage projects, creativity and invention,” Chairman and Founder of Promoseven Holdings Akram Meknes said.

“I am happy to raise this investment from Hope Ventures and Beban investors because it is the fruit of my passion for baking and making sweets, and my efforts towards ensuring the quality and deliciousness of my products with the help of my family who continue to support me. I believe that with the help of Hope and Beban investors, L7 Chocolate products can be seen on shelves all over the region, As we hope in the world,” said the founder and chef of L7 Chocolate, Lejain Hussein.
