HM King’s support for sports hailed by Interior Minister

Manama, September 19 (BNA) The Minister of Interior received Lieutenant-General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa today, in the presence of the Head of Public Security, Lieutenant-General Tariq Al-Hassan, President of the Sports Federation for Public Security, Colonel Khalid. Al-Khayat presented the player of the Ministry of Interior, Ali Manfredi, who won first place in the 77 kg category within the national team in the Asian Jiu-Jitsu Championship held in the United Arab Emirates.

The Minister of Interior praised His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s support for sports in Bahrain, which was a pioneer in notable achievements in various international participations.

He valued the care and follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for humanitarian work and youth affairs, to provide the required environment for sporting achievements and launch national youth initiatives.

He congratulated the player on his achievements, which reflect his willingness and professionalism in sports performance.

The player expressed his appreciation to the Minister of Interior for his gesture that motivates him to achieve more sporting achievements.
