Manama, September 29 (BNA) Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani praised the reform approach pursued by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, which has strengthened the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain as a beacon of security, stability and peaceful coexistence under the rule of law and respect for human rights.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs praised the royal initiatives and government directives led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in supporting the Bahrain Police and their active role in maintaining security and safety. Protecting lives and property, combating crime in all its forms, consolidating justice and applying the law in accordance with international human rights standards.
He said that all of this contributed to providing a safe and stable environment that ensures civil and social peace, and ensured commitment to the spirit of “Team Bahrain” in continuing the comprehensive and sustainable development process.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed his appreciation and thanks to the Minister of Interior Major General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa for the distinguished security achievement represented in reducing the overall crime rate by 30%.
This is the result of the tireless efforts and continuous achievements of the Ministry and all its employees in maintaining security and public order, and providing police and security services with sincerity, professionalism, efficiency and competence, within the framework of respecting and promoting human rights. He emphasized the values of tolerance, national unity, the spirit of loyalty, belonging and good citizenship.
Dr. Al-Zayani praised the concerted national efforts of the legislative and executive bodies, human rights institutions, and awareness of the community to implement the initiatives of the national plan to spread the spirit of belonging to the homeland and consolidate the values of citizenship.
