Manama, May 3 (BNA): The Bahrain Journalists Association expressed its deepest thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the occasion of World Press Freedom Day, which is celebrated all over the world on May 3, praising the main royal message on the occasion of World Press Freedom Day. the press. The Jordanian Journalists Syndicate stressed that the Kingdom’s celebration of the World Press Freedom Day reflects the distinguished role and position of the local press, as well as the outstanding achievements it has achieved at the Arab and international levels thanks to the royal interest and support.

The BJA pointed out that the message of His Majesty the King increases the responsibility of local newspapers in spreading awareness, promoting enlightened thought and highlighting the true civilized image of the Kingdom as an advanced model in protecting rights and freedoms.

The Jordanian Journalists Syndicate confirmed that His Majesty the King’s continuous interest and unlimited support contributed to improving the level of local journalism over the past years, adding that the royal message on this occasion is an incentive for journalists to continue carrying out their national tasks with impartiality and professionalism. She stressed that local newspapers will always play their national role and will be a key partner for the Bahrain team in supporting the recovery plans launched by the government under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
