Manama, Dec. 13 (BNA): Ministers, members of the Shura Council and Parliament, and senior officials praised the speech of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa at the opening of the first session of the sixth legislative term.
His Majesty King Hamad opened the session in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, members of Parliament, diplomats and senior officials.
They said that the speech represents guidelines for action, closer cooperation between the legislative and executive branches, and the advancement of democratic practices.
They emphasized that the royal directives are a roadmap for continuing the comprehensive development process and the government’s achievements and development projects within the economic recovery plans and financial balance programs in partnership with the private sector.
The title also represents a strong plan to achieve economic growth and to move steadily and resolutely towards advanced economic progress.
They praised His Majesty the King’s pride in the achievements of Bahraini women and his appreciation for their influential contributions to national development.
They added that the royal speech was a great motivation for women to make stronger commitment and greater contributions to serving the nation with greater enthusiasm and deeper dedication.
They pointed out that the speech launches a new era with very important priorities that can be achieved through closer dialogues between Parliament and the government to coordinate positions and stances, achieve the aspirations of the people, protect national interests, strengthen national unity and consolidate the Bahraini identity. .
