Abu Dhabi, Jan. 19 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa met today the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on the occasion of His Majesty’s visit to the United Arab Emirates. .
The two leaders reviewed aspects of the depth of the deeply rooted, strong and fraternal Bahraini-Emirati relations, and ways to enhance areas of cooperation, coordination and joint action in a way that serves the higher interests of the two brotherly countries and peoples.
His Majesty the King and the President, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, praised the established bilateral relations and the advanced level reached by joint cooperation in various fields.
His Majesty King Hamad expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, President of the State, for hosting the brotherly consultative meeting that was held recently between the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and their Jordanian and Egyptian counterparts.
In this regard, His Majesty the King praised the pivotal and effective role played by the UAE under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the regional and global levels, appreciating its efforts in championing Arab causes and supporting joint Gulf and Arab action. to face various challenges, as well as its keenness to strengthen the pillars of security, stability and peace in the region.
The two leaders also discussed the latest Gulf, Arab, regional and global developments. Views were also exchanged on issues of common interest.
