Manama, February 16 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received two cables of thanks from Chinese President Xi Jinping in response to His Majesty’s congratulations on the Chinese New Year and the opening of the Winter Olympics in China.
The Chinese president expressed his appreciation to His Majesty for the good feelings he showed, reflecting the depth of friendship between the two countries.
President Jinping stressed the development of historical relations and keenness to raise them to another level to serve the interests of the two countries.
