HM King returns to Bahrain; praises Saudi Arabia’s hosting of three key summits

Manama, Dec. 9 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa returned today to the Kingdom after visiting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he headed the delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the 43rd session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council. (Gulf Cooperation Council) and the GCC-China Summit.

Earlier today, His Majesty King Hamad left Riyadh, and was seen off at King Khalid International Airport, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Bahrain, His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Ali Bin Abdul Rahman Bin Ali. Upon his departure, His Majesty the King sent a telegram of thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

In the cable, His Majesty the King expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the warm reception and generous hospitality accorded to His Majesty the King and his accompanying delegation, which reflects the well-established Bahraini-Saudi fraternal relations and their strength in all fields.

His Majesty the King praised Saudi Arabia’s successful hosting of the Gulf, Gulf-Chinese, and Arab-Chinese summits, which proves the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ keenness to enhance joint Gulf action and support joint Arab action at all levels and in all fields. And strengthening cooperation with friendly China in a way that serves the common Gulf and Arab interests, achieves the good for its brotherly peoples, preserves the security and stability of the region, and enhances its progress.
