Manama, Jan. 8 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received the outgoing Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Dr. Nayef Al-Hajraf.
His Majesty the King expressed his thanks to immigration for his efforts during his tenure, praising his endeavors and ability to develop the work of the General Secretariat and enhance the march of joint Gulf efforts to achieve the aspirations of the GCC states and their peoples for more. Stability, integration and prosperity, and to continue its role in consolidating peace, security and stability at the regional and global levels.
His Majesty the King praised the achievements of the Gulf Cooperation Council in all its fields, wishing Dr. Al-Hajraf success.
The outgoing Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council expressed his thanks to His Majesty the King for his continuous support to the GCC countries, and highlighted Bahrain’s active role and its efforts to enhance cooperation.
