Manama, Jan. 8 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oil and Gas Holding Company (nogaholding), received His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin. Hamad Al Khalifa.
The meeting was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
His Majesty the King was briefed on the results of evaluating the unconventional gas resources in the layers of Al-Juba and Al-Jawf located under the reservoirs of Al Khuff and Onaizah, which produce natural gas.
His Majesty praised the efforts made to increase the Kingdom’s resources of oil and natural gas, and stressed their positive impact in supporting the national economy and the goals of sustainable development.
His Highness Sheikh Nasser expressed his gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad for receiving the leading consulting and evaluation teams.
He also expressed his appreciation to His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for his continuous support for the advancement of the oil and gas sector in Bahrain.
