Manama, April 3 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received this evening at Sakhir Palace, in the presence of His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of His Majesty the King, and his delegation from the Northern Governorate. On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
They expressed their best wishes to His Majesty the King for the blessed month of Ramadan, wishing him health, happiness and a long life, and for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity under his leadership.
Well-wishers lauded the outstanding development achievements underway in the Northern Governorate, and credited the progress made to the directives of His Majesty the King.
His Majesty the King welcomed the attendees and exchanged Ramadan greetings with them, praising the role of the Northern Governorate in the march of national progress and its contribution to development efforts.
His Majesty the King praised the bonds of brotherhood among Bahrainis, their cohesion, and their commitment to human values that are based on respect for all peoples and religions.
His Majesty the King praised the sincerity and contributions of Bahrainis to the development of the Kingdom. He praised the active role of Bahrainis in building the nation, praising their competence and sincerity, which qualified them to assume leadership positions, whether at the local level or in Arab and international organizations.
His Majesty the King wished the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people abundant happiness, and more security, stability, development, progress and prosperity.
Dr. Mahmoud Ibrahim Rashid Tarada delivered a speech on this occasion on behalf of the citizens of the Northern Governorate, wishing His Majesty the King, the government and people of Bahrain and the Arab and Islamic nations all the best.
He praised the government’s action plan led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister and Commander of the Bahrain Team.
He congratulated His Majesty the King on the positive growth indicators revealed by Bahrain’s economic reports for the year 2022, praising the development projects and Bahrain’s classification in international competitiveness assessments.
He highlighted the most important projects implemented by the Northern Governorate to improve the standard of living of citizens with limited incomes and to address humanitarian cases, citing in particular the “Boyot” (homes) charitable program.
Dr. Tarada praised His Majesty the King’s vision and approach aimed at consolidating social cohesion, strengthening national unity, and consolidating the values of national belonging and citizenship. He recalled how His Majesty the King’s approach was recognized by His Holiness Pope Francis and His Eminence the Grand Imam, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, adding that it was embodied in the distinguished global initiatives led by His Majesty the King. He also praised the directives of the Minister of Interior, Major General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, to enhance community partnership.
He noted the Northern Governorate’s support for the collective wedding organized by the Hamala Cultural, Charitable and Social Association, as an embodiment of national unity, affiliation to the homeland and the firm spirit of citizenship.
He renewed allegiance to His Majesty the King, highlighting Aali’s accreditation as a healthy city among other notable achievements under the comprehensive development efforts led by His Majesty.
Then the Governor of the North, Ali Abdul-Hussein Al-Hussein, presented a memorial gift to His Majesty the King on behalf of the citizens of the Northern Governorate.
His Majesty the King praised Dr. Ali Fakhro’s long efforts since the early years of establishing the State Council in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
“He is my teacher and I learned a lot from him,” His Majesty the King said, expressing his optimism about the bright future of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Governor of the North, Ali Abdul Hussein Al-Asfoor, expressed his gratitude to His Majesty the King for receiving the citizens in the Northern Governorate, and extended his best wishes for the blessed month of Ramadan.
He praised the approach of His Majesty the King in consolidating the values of peace and tolerance and the global initiatives led by His Majesty the King in this field.
The governor also praised the development efforts led by His Majesty the King and supported by His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He said that those efforts moved Bahrain from the stage of recovery to the stage of unprecedented growth, in light of the economic indicators that were announced recently.
