His Majesty the King welcomed the Libyan Foreign Minister, and asked her to convey his greetings to the President of the Libyan Presidential Council, the Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Unity, and the brotherly Libyan people, and his wishes for continued security, stability and prosperity for the State of Libya.
His Majesty the King praised the strong brotherly relations between the two countries, and their keenness to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields for the good of the two brotherly peoples.
During the meeting, His Majesty the King was briefed by Foreign Minister Dr. Al-Mankoush on the latest Libyan developments and efforts exerted to lead the transitional phase and the convening of the international conference to support stability in Libya later this month.
His Majesty affirmed the Kingdom’s support for the strenuous efforts made by the State of Libya to lay the foundations for security, stability and peace throughout the country, stressing the importance of taking steps to support stability in Libya and the exit of foreigners. In order to preserve Libya’s sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, as well as holding the scheduled presidential and parliamentary elections to achieve the aspirations of the brotherly Libyan people for development and prosperity.
