Manama, December 29 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received today at the Sofia Palace the President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Duarte Pacheco, who is currently on a visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, and praised his efforts in developing these international relations. He praised the culture of democracy and human rights, highlighting the achievements of Bahraini women and their contributions to development, decision-making and political participation, the presidency of the House of Representatives and the assumption of high positions locally, regionally and internationally.
