Manama, July 7 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received today at the Sofia Palace the Chairman of the Bahraini-Russian Friendship and Business Association Dr. George Zureikat and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Anatoly Mitrochin. Their visit to Bahrain marked the establishment of the association.
His Majesty the King welcomed them, praising the society’s efforts in strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation in the commercial, economic, investment and cultural fields. He wished the president and members of the association continued success, praising the strong historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Russia in light of the common concern to develop them at all levels.
During the meeting, the Society’s president presented to His Majesty the King a model representing the Orthodox Church that will be established in the Kingdom of Bahrain as part of the society’s goals and projects in appreciation of the freedom of religion, tolerance and coexistence that characterize the Kingdom of Bahrain. the two seas.
His Majesty the King expressed his thanks for this model, stressing religious freedom and tolerance that have characterized Bahraini society throughout the Kingdom’s history.
