Manama, Mar. 5 (BNA): Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani praised the royal directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to provide urgent humanitarian aid to Syria and Turkey, which were affected by the earthquakes that caused them. Killing and wounding thousands of civilians and damaging infrastructure and facilities.
Dr. Al-Zayani praised the efforts made by the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to unify the efforts of ministries and government institutions to provide support to countries affected by natural disasters.
He also praised the efforts of His Majesty the King’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, in leading the humanitarian work carried out by the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), and praised the Foundation’s keenness to implement. The minister affirmed that Bahrain’s quick response to humanitarian calls and its eagerness to help those in need reflects the strong relations that bind Bahrain with other countries.
Dr. Al-Zayani expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
