HM King follows children endurance race

Manama, January 7 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa continued the children’s endurance race with the participation of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs. and his children.

The race came within the framework of the festival of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Public Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.

The festival is organized by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) from January 6-8.

His Majesty the King continued the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, with the participation of his sons Sheikha Shaima bint Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Sheikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

The race, which witnessed the participation of many jockeys from various local stables, was followed by Sheikh Hamdan bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

His Majesty the King praised the prominent role played by His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa in preserving and developing the Kingdom’s heritage in equestrian sports.

He emphasized the steady development of equestrian sport in Bahrain, which has made the Kingdom many achievements.

His Majesty the King stressed the role of endurance races in enhancing confidence among young people, praising the vision of His Highness Sheikh Nasser in providing the ideal environment for children to practice equestrian sports, especially endurance sports.
