Manama, February 19 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa sent a cable of congratulations to Parliament Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, on the occasion of her assumption of the presidency of the current session of the Arab Parliament. The Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU) during the 32nd Conference of AIPU, held in Cairo, Egypt.
His Majesty wished President Zainal success in consolidating the union’s march in supporting cooperation and coordination between Arab parliaments in a way that serves the issues of the Arab nation and achieves the aspirations of the brotherly Arab peoples for further progress and prosperity.
His Majesty the King praised the distinguished status enjoyed by Bahrainis at the Arab and international levels, praising their distinguished competencies and experiences that qualify them to assume responsibilities and assume various regional positions.
