Manama, October 15 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa sent a cable of congratulations to Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid on the occasion of his election as the new president of Iraq.
His Majesty the King expressed his sincere congratulations, wishing him success in achieving the aspirations of the Iraqi people for further growth and prosperity.
His Majesty praised the deep historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Iraq, stressing the Kingdom’s keenness to strengthen them to achieve common interests. He wished the new Iraqi president good health, happiness, and continued security and stability for Iraq and its people.
