Manama, November 13 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a congratulatory cable from Parliament Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, on the occasion of the success of the 2022 parliamentary and municipal elections in which the 2022 elections took place. Voter turnout reached 73%.
Parliament Speaker Fawzia Zainal described the resounding success of the 2022 elections as a new milestone that proves the sustainability of the comprehensive democratic and development process led by His Majesty.
She emphasized that the high turnout of male and female voters came as a result of their recognition of the importance of exercising their constitutional rights and national duties in electing their representatives in the House of Representatives and municipal councils.
