Manama, July 20 (BNA) The Speaker of the Shura Council, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for winning first place in the US State Department’s 2022 report on human trafficking for the fifth year in a row.
The Shura Chairman affirmed that the qualitative achievement is due to His Majesty’s continuous efforts in the field of human rights and the strengthening of the security system at the regional and international levels.
His Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa also congratulated the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and praised Bahrain’s efforts in combating human trafficking.
Al-Saleh stressed that this achievement comes after the directives of His Majesty the King and reflects the role of His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister in preserving the rights of citizens and residents.
