Manama, February 2 (BNA) The Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council and Vice-Chairman of its Board of Trustees, Dr. Sheikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, received the Indian Ambassador to Bahrain Piyush Srivastava.
The Secretary-General praised the distinguished Bahraini-Indian relations and the progress they are witnessing at various levels.
She stressed the council’s keenness to develop educational and research cooperation in a way that supports the educational process and serves efforts to achieve sustainable development in the two countries.
The ambassador expressed his appreciation for the council’s role and efforts in promoting higher education and providing everything necessary to encourage investment in higher education.
