Higher Education Secretary-General hailed Brazil President meeting with higher education students

Manama, November 17 (BNA) The Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council and Vice-President of the Board of Trustees of Higher Education Dr. Sheikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa expressed the council’s pride in the meeting of the President of Brazil with the students directly. Higher education institutions in Bahrain, as part of the initiatives of the King Hamad Global Center for Peaceful Coexistence.

She praised the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to spread the values ​​of tolerance and peaceful coexistence in the world.

The Secretary-General said that the meeting will enhance the role of higher education students in decision-making, respond to various issues and challenges, and educate young people about their international role as future pioneers.

She stressed that the meeting came as a translation of the aspirations and directives of His Majesty the King in spreading the concepts of peaceful coexistence and tolerance on a global scale and making Bahrain a model of openness and moderation.

Dr. Sheikha Rana indicated that this came as a follow-up from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the higher education sector, and investment in human capital, in accordance with the principles of Bahrain Vision 2030.
