The Fund signed a memorandum of understanding in 2018 with King Hamad University Hospital to support the treatment of children with hearing impairment through cochlear implants. Her Highness Sheikha Moza has supported five cochlear implants for children.
The Fund witnessed many valuable initiatives in the field of health. The donation was made to purchase 36 insulin pumps for children with diabetes. In the field of education, the fund sponsors a number of scholarships in the field of human medicine at both the Arabian Gulf University and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Bahrain, and provides scholarships for postgraduate students (Master’s degree) at the university. the two seas.
