Manama, May 1 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Adviser, Secretary General of the Supreme Defense Council and Commander of the Royal Guard, received a congratulatory cable from Vice President of the National Council for the Arts, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Sheikh Turki bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa, following the issuance of the order of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to promote His Highness to the rank of lieutenant general.
His Highness Sheikh Turki bin Rashid affirmed that His Highness Sheikh Nasser was promoted to the rank of lieutenant general in appreciation of his highness’ competence, dedication and broad national achievements, wishing his highness continued success in serving the nation.
