Manama, November 11 (BNA) The second session of the youth parliamentary simulation session was launched today, Thursday, headed by Parliament Speaker Fawzia Zainal, in the presence of a number of ministers and government representatives.

HH Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, participated in the session.

He delivered a speech in which he thanked His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, appreciating His Majesty the King for His Majesty’s endless support for empowering young people, which would inspire hope in the hearts of young people and motivate them to achieve creativity and serve their country.

“Today we are reaping the fruits of this interest from His Majesty the King in the achievements made by these young people at home and abroad,” he said.

He expressed his appreciation for the support and attention provided by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, who made the youth sector a top priority in the government’s work program, stressing that young people are the most important partner in decision-makers and they are the Kingdom’s ambassadors.

He described the youth as “advisers of His Majesty the King”, pointing out that youth are the basis for building an honorable future, as they serve their country and bear responsibility with distinction and strength in the present and the future.

He said that young people represent a source of inspiration and creativity, and their desires are heard from the wise leadership that harnesses time, money and effort to serve Bahraini youth.

Dr. Al-Shirawi explained that the session moved to discussing the report of the Youth and Sports Committee regarding a proposed law to amend Article (40) of the Law of Societies, Social and Cultural Clubs, and Private Bodies working in the field of youth. Sports and private institutions issued by Decree-Law No. (21) of 1989.

The session approved a proposal for a law and referred it to the government to be drafted in the form of a draft law.

Other topics such as the establishment of a sustainable and smart city for youth similar to the seasonal cities established by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs, as well as the establishment of professional academies for Olympic sports in all governorates of the Kingdom were also discussed. the two seas.
