Manama, April 30 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, received today the President of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Chapa Kurosi.
The meeting was attended by Director of the Office of the President of the United Nations General Assembly Laszlo Zuky, Head of Political Affairs Yanina Haas Mohsen, and Fahd Al-Ajmi, Advisor to the President of the United Nations General Assembly on Political Affairs and Security and Peace Issues.
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa welcomed the President of the United Nations General Assembly and his accompanying delegation, stressing the pivotal role of the General Assembly in addressing Arab, regional and global issues.
His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the importance of intensifying efforts to achieve peace and address global issues and challenges facing the countries of the world.
He reiterated Bahrain’s firm support for the efforts of the United Nations General Assembly to enhance global security and stability and achieve international development goals.
