Manama, October 17 (BNA) His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for humanitarian work and youth affairs, stressed the great role that sports play in promoting the Kingdom in various international sporting events, in line with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa And the aspirations of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to achieve Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
In this regard, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Zayed Al Nahyan indicated that holding the Bahrain Cup of Endurance in Uruguay contributes to enhancing the Kingdom’s prestigious sporting position at the international level, noting that this event embodies His Majesty’s great support for the use of sports to promote the Kingdom.
His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed that the event has many benefits, stressing his constant support for the races that contribute to the advancement of the Kingdom and the consolidation of its position in the sports field.
His Highness Sheikh Nasser commended the great efforts made by Audi Uruguay to make this event a success, extending his congratulations to all the winners.
The Bahrain Endurance Cup in Uruguay witnessed races of 160 km and 120 km, in addition to 100 km to be held later.
