Manama, November 10 (BNA): His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Public Authority for Sports and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee. His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, congratulated a Bahraini achievement represented in the victory of the Bahraini Handball Federation President MP Ali Ishaqi has been appointed as Vice-President of the Asian Handball Federation (AHF), and the Bahrain Handball Federation for the second time in a row won the award for the best Asian Federation for the year 2017-2021.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his pride in the new achievements, noting that they are recorded in the Bahraini sports achievements, through which the federation confirms its brilliance and excellence on the continental and international arenas.
He said that Bahrain’s victory reflects the support of His Majesty the King, the keenness of His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister, and the efforts of His Highness Sheikh Nasser for Bahraini sports, which contributed to achieving many achievements and highlighting Bahrain’s name on the world sports map.
