Commander-in-Chief chairs RCSNDC Supreme Council’s virtual meeting

Manama, November 10 (BNA) The Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force, Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, chaired today the meeting of the Supreme Council of Royal Command and Staff and the National Defense College. (RCSNDC).

The Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, participated in the meeting, which was held remotely.

Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed listened to a briefing from the college commander, Brigadier General Abdullah Saeed Al-Mansoori, about the main stages of the current academic year, including military academic subjects and training programs.

He was also briefed on the procedures for implementing the college development plans aimed at enhancing the quality of education and training in it.

The meeting also discussed issues related to upgrading the college’s specialized training programs.

The Commander-in-Chief indicated that the Bahrain Defense Force has achieved many remarkable achievements at the combat and administrative levels, thanks to the constant attention and sound directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, stressing the Bahrain Defense Force’s firm keenness on that. Continuously developing all academic curricula at various military training facilities.

The Commander-in-Chief referred to the crucial role played by the Royal Command and Staff and the National Defense College in the field of higher military education in order to prepare highly qualified officers who are equipped with all modern military requirements at the strategic level. Noting that the steady progress in the modernization process at the college has been positively reflected on the operations carried out by the various work teams and units of the Bahrain Defense Force.

He added that the Bahrain Defense Force is interested in developing the programs and curricula of the Royal Command, Staff and the National Defense College, as well as providing them with qualified human resources in the academic and military fields, which are constantly trained on the ways. To deal with the latest modern technologies in the field of military education.

The Commander-in-Chief wished the faculty members and students success in achieving the objectives of the specialized training and academic programs, especially with regard to the National Defense Certificate and the Joint Command and Staff Certificate.
