Manama, Dec. 2 (BNA): Under the auspices of the First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Public Authority for Sports and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. International Olympic Day will be celebrated on Saturday 3 December.
The events will be held at the Avenues Mall from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, at the Al-Dawy International Center for Sports and Martial Arts, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, at the Bahrain Swimming Federation headquarters. Isa Town: from 09:00 am to 11:00 am, The Art Hotel and Resort Hotel, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, and the Bahrain Marine Sports Federation will hold swimming competitions from 10:00 am to 4 a.m.: 30 p.m
During the events, the medical team will provide free blood sugar and blood pressure checks, in cooperation with Al Hilal Hospital, free vouchers will be provided to all participants and first aid services will be provided.
Details of Bahrain’s celebrations of the World Olympic Day were revealed, during a meeting with the Secretary-General of the Olympic Sports Committee, Faris Al-Kooheji, and representatives of various sports federations.
During the meeting, Al-Kooheji was briefed on the federations’ preparations for this event.
This year’s International Olympic Day celebrates the power of sport to bring people together in peace. In 2022, the theme for International Olympic Day will be “Together for a Peaceful World.”
