Manama, August 2 /BNA/: First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Khalifa received in his office at Al Wadi Palace the CEO of the Urban Planning and Development Authority Eng. Ahmed Abdel Aziz Al-Khayat.
His Highness congratulated him on the Royal Secretariat, wishing him success in performing his duties.
During the meeting, which was attended by the Vice President of the General Authority for Sports Sheikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa and the CEO of the General Authority for Sports, Dr. Abdul Rahman Askar, His Highness discussed projects to develop sports infrastructure and include them in urban development plans. He stressed the importance of continuous cooperation between the General Sports Authority and the Urban Planning and Development Authority to meet the needs of the youth and sports sector.
