Al-Manfaridi won the gold medal in the 77kg weight category at the World Championships, which was organized by the International Jiu-Jitsu Federation (JJIF) at the Arana Jiu-Jitsu Zone in Zayed Sports City, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The World Jiu-Jitsu Championship concludes on Friday 12 November.
