Manama, September 12 (BNA) The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Horse Welfare Affairs Authority, Sheikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa, expressed his sincere congratulations to the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports at the General Sports Authority. The President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, following the success of Team KHK Racing’s horse, Eldar Eldorf, winning the G1 St Leger race in Doncaster, UK.
Sheikh Daij stressed that the strong support of His Highness Khalid bin Hamad contributed to the Kingdom’s success in achieving victories in international races, noting that this gap adds to the achievements made by the KHK Racing team thanks to His Highness’ support.
He pointed out that the magnificent victory of His Highness’ horse will be an incentive for the team to continue its successes in the outdoor gatherings, praising the efforts of jockey David Egan and coach Roger Farian.
