HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman attends the Bahrain International Trophy draw

Manama, Nov. 16 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club, today witnessed the withdrawal of horses for the riders participating in the fourth edition of the Bahrain International Cup.

The race will take place on Friday, November 18th at the Bahrain Turf Club circuit.

Horse racing fans from all over the world are waiting for the Bahrain International Cup next Friday, which will witness strong competition between international horses represented by several well-known stables.

A draw for the horses to compete in the 2000-meter main, conducted by presenter Nick Lack, was held at the Four Seasons Hotel to determine the starting gate numbers for the ten horses entering the race.

The draw resulted in the following line-up at the starting gates: “Dilawar – Riocorvo – Dubai Future – Passion and Glory – Magny Cours – Pensiero D’Amore – Insinuendo – King David – Monty – Royal Fleet”.

The Higher Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman, continues its efforts to promote the Kingdom of Bahrain as a global destination for horse racing by organizing the fourth edition of the Bahrain International Cup. This follows the impressive successes of the previous three races.

In addition to the Bahrain International Cup, six other races will be held, including: the Batelco Cup, Bapco, and the Bahrain Economic Development Board Cups, which are also sponsors of the race.

The event was also attended by Vice President of the Supreme Council for the Environment and Vice Chairman of the Higher Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club, His Highness Sheikh Faisal bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa, member of the Supreme Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club. His Highness Sheikh Sultan Al-Din bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa, Chief of the Court of the Crown Prince, His Excellency Sheikh Salman bin Ahmed bin Salman Al Khalifa, senior officials, representatives, sponsors, owners, coaches, riders, and media professionals.
