Manama, October 26 (BNA) His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of His Majesty the King and Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee of the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS 2022) confirmed the holding of the tenth session of the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS 2022). The International Council of International Arbitration confirms the great progress achieved by the Kingdom during the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
He added that His Majesty’s directives and his forward-looking strategic vision enabled the Kingdom to achieve wide-ranging achievements and successes in various fields, including hosting huge international exhibitions in the aviation, research, technology and space industries.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad made these statements while chairing here today the meeting of the Higher Committee of the Bahrain International Air Show to be held at Sakhir Air Base on November 9-11, under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad.
The personal representatives of His Majesty the King confirmed that the successful organization of such a global event (BIAS 2022) came as a result of the firm support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, noting His Highness’s continuous follow-up to the following: up Company has strengthened the confidence of manufacturers and companies International aviation in Bahrain, which will enhance national economic growth and achieve the expected results and goals.
The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Electricity and Water Authority Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, Minister of Transportation and Communications Mohammed bin Thamer Al Kaabi, Head of Military Committees and Commander of Sakhir Air Base. His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad, Deputy Air Major General, Hussain Al-Musallam, stressed the importance of harnessing all capabilities and capabilities before the start of the World Air Show.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan urged the members of the committee to provide the necessary facilities for all participants, guests and visitors of the exhibition in order to enhance the Kingdom’s position.
He praised the distinguished participation of brotherly and friendly countries in BIAS 2022, stressing that they will contribute to its success.
The personal representative of His Majesty the King indicated that the Bahrain International Investment Fair 2022 will make a qualitative shift in the series of international events hosted by the Kingdom over the past years, noting that this year’s program will focus on four thematic areas, including “airports and airlines”, and to explore the challenges that are being faced. and industry sustainability, “Shipping and Logistics,” highlighting the industry’s growth potential, seeking advancement opportunities and building resilience across the global supply chain, “Women in Space,” showcasing the growth of industry CEOs and addressing diversification opportunities in the sector, and “Space” , studying global developments, exploring investment and financing opportunities and inspiring future generations to join this high-growth field of industry.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the importance of attracting distinguished flight offers at BIAS 2022, expressing his thanks and appreciation to the Saudi Falcons team of the Royal Saudi Air Force and the UAE Air Knights teams, in addition to the other participating teams. He participated in BIAS 2022, namely the famous aerobatics team of the RAF “Red Arrows”, USAF, Global Stars and Pakistan Air Force, among others.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad directed his directives to invite 4000 male and female students from public and private schools to freely enter the family area and benefit from the various programs and events of the air show.
His Highness also directed the development of the area designated for families, the public, citizens and aviation lovers, in addition to providing parking spaces near the entry gate of Sakhir Air Base to facilitate visitors’ access to the recreational area.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah also ordered that children under 12 years of age be exempted from entry fees to the family area, in order to encourage families to enjoy the atmosphere of the air shows.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah expressed his thanks and appreciation to all those involved in preparing for this event, including the concerned directorates of the Ministry of Interior, the National Guard, Municipal Affairs and Agriculture, the Ministry of Information Affairs, the Ministry of Finance and National Economy, and the tender.
